Prostatitis characteristics: The program with prevailing vasodilatory and healing frequencies results in the suppression of prostatitis and the relief of difficulties resulting from hypertrophic prostate and inflammation.
Purpose of magnetic therapy application in prostatitis
In prostatitis, the purpose of applying low-frequency pulsed magnetic therapy is to use its anti-oedemic and anti-inflammation effects to heal and recover normal functioning of the prostate and, at the same time, to affect sexual dysfunction in a positive manner.
Using magnetic therapy in prostatitis
Prostatitis, or benign hypertrophy of the prostate gland (BHP), is a common disease in males. The incidence rate increases with age, starting at the age of approximately fifty. Enlargement, oedema and inflammatory changes result in worsened urine flow, causing more frequent urination in small volumes. It is a progressive disease which can end in failure of the lower urinary tract function and kidney insufficiency. Prostatitis is rather annoying but can also lead to the serious risk of developing malignant prostatic disease. Upon enlargement, the prostate gland suppresses the bottom of the urinary bladder and reflective spasm occurs in the smooth muscle of the urinary bladder neck, prostate, and part of the urethra, resulting in an anatomic obstruction. A prostate enlarged due to benign hyperplasia leads to urinary disorders - showing as symptoms of the lower urinary tract on the basis of prostate benign hyperplasia; clinically, this will show up as a defecation or micturition disorder, urinary retention, urinary tract infection, hematuria or hydronephrosis and renal insufficiency. Prostatitis is treated in a pharmacology manner - most frequently inhibitors are administered - 5alpha-reductases, alphablocks, physiotherapeutics - or by surgery (TUR, etc.)
Biomag low-frequency pulsed magnetic therapy uses its anti-oedemic and anti-inflammatory effects to stimulate the healing of prostatitis, to regenerate smooth muscles, to influence the microbial contamination of the prostatitic secreta in a positive manner and to help in recovering the normal functions of the prostate gland. At the same time, it affects sexual dysfunction in a positive manner.
