Urinary bladder inflammation - cystitis acuta
Characteristics of urinary bladder inflammation (cystitis acuta): Inflammation of the urinary bladder or acute cystitis is manifested by pain in the lower abdomen with the urge to urinate, and elevated body temperature. The pain aggravates at the beginning and at the end of urination. Sometimes, the occurrence of blood in the urine is reported.
Inflammation of the urinary bladder affects mostly young women and often recurs. Increased incidence of inflammation of the urinary bladder in women is due to the different anatomy of the urinary tract in women vs. men. Inflammation of the urinary bladder is caused by weakening of the body, exhaustion or hypothermia. After the management of acute inflammation of the urinary bladder, additional care is required to prevent recurrences, such as rest, adequate fluid intake, support of immune functions, prevention of cold, and so on. Treatment with antibiotics or chemotherapeutic agents is required according to the sensitivity of the detected infectious agents. Stimulation of systemic immunity is recommended as part of the preventive measures.
Using magnetic therapy in inflammation of the urinary bladder
In inflammation of the urinary bladder, Biomag low-frequency pulsed magnetic therapy is used in combination with other targeted treatments, including antibiotics. Magnetic therapy reduces the pain and spasms related to inflammation of the urinary bladder, stimulates healing, improves the effect of antibiotic treatment, accelerates healing and can be used as part of the preventive measures.
Application of magnetic therapy in inflammation of the urinary bladder
In inflammation of the urinary bladder, treatment is applied preferably by having the patient sit on a flat applicator and to the small pelvis area at a frequency range of 4-6 Hz and 10-14 Hz with analgesic and spasmolytic effects combined with a special fluid intake programme with magnetised water.
